Dress code is beneficial to the dance student. If
the instructor cannot see the dancer, then the instructor
cannot properly and safely train the dancer.
| Pre-dance | – comfortable clothing, pink ballet slippers (white for boys) |
| Ballet | – black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, ballet skirt optional |
| Jazz | – leotard, tan tights or black jazz pants, Tan Jazz Shoes |
| Hip-Hop | – jazz attire or fitted workout clothes, black dance sneakers |
| Boys for all classes | – fitted white t-shirt, black jazz pants, call for shoe requirements |
| Adults | – dress code is optional, but recommended and proper shoes are required |
Dance sweaters and leg warmers are acceptable.
• Competitive students must have their appropriate shoes NO LATER THAN October 21st, 2006
• Shoes – the shoes listed here are generally what will be worn HOWEVER, double check
with your instructor before purchasing any shoe, be sure to keep your receipt, and please bring
your shoes to your instructor so they can confirm the style.
-Hair for ALL CLASSES:
Hair must be firmly secured away from the face and up off the neck. Ballet students are Required to have hair in a BUN.
NO Jewelry, Street Clothes, Sweat Shirts/Pants, Shorts, T-Shirts, and no Gum Chewing.
NO STREET SHOES & NO FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED IN THE DANCE SPACE.
